The most important milestones in our company history
We have been constantly evolving for almost a century – from a metalworking company to an internationally active system provider. Our history shows how technological precision, responsibility and partnership have characterised each phase.
1929
Foundation of the family business
Albert Zepter founds a metalworking company in Neunkirchen. The focus was on metal housings and enclosures for various applications.
1967
First airport control tower
Development and production of the first tower canopy in accordance with the guidelines of the Federal Air Traffic Control Centre. Assembly by our own technicians directly on site.
1970
Launch of zepter Flugtechnik GmbH
Tower production becomes a separate company. Introduction of a standardised range of nine cockpit types for international operations.
2001
Introduction of medi-conzept®
Market launch of a modular functional furniture programme for clinics, laboratories and medical facilities, designed for hygiene and durability.
2025
System provider for complex metal solutions
The company’s expertise combines metal processing, system integration and engineering. Complete solutions for medical technology, aviation technology and industry are realised worldwide.
